Rudding Park Hotel Conference and Banqueting was where I started in the cooking industry, I spent nearly three years there (two and half years part time and six months full time). The fundamentals of my cooking knowledge where taught to me here. Starting in catering really helped me explore a variety of tasks as I was able to prepare and serve a variety of dishes from the kitchen. Helping assist in large and significant functions (800 people at a few points) helped me to improve my efficiency, speed and understanding of portions.
