It was great to get back to cookery demonstrations after the long lockdowns and endless cancelled events, the YDFDF was the perfect way to get back into the swing. It was a great weekend, doing two cookery demonstrations and one chef’s cook-off onstage! From the vegan stage, the AA Rosette stage and the big top I met some influential figures in the industry. The chef’s cook was a definite highlight, facing up against a brilliant local chef Simon Miller, cooking up a storm with a 600 seater audience. It was a great honor to meet James Martin and the Hairy Bikers, the headliners for the festival, who also performed on the stage.
